The 19th ENCA Plenary - Bern, Switzerland - 6-8th November 2016
ENCA-19 was a great success.  The excursion showed members the beautiful scenery of the Aare and Neuchatel as well as being highly informative on river and peat restoration.  The meeting was very productive, with members  learning much about large carnivore management and providing an opportunity to  share the wealth of experience within the group.  ENCA have made a good start in our strategy, and over the next weeks and months to the Slovenia plenary Troika+ and the Secretariat will further this work.

The ENCA statement on the EC Nature Directives Fitness Check builds upon the body of experience from across the ENCA-network.  We highlight four core areas which could provide the most significant improvements to implementation of the Nature Directives.  The ENCA statement is available to download from the ENCA Statements page
