Seminar - Greening of CAP Pillar 1 payments - can it be done better and simpler?

20 April 2016, From 12:30 - 17:30

On 20 April 2016, ENCA held a seminar on ‘Greening of CAP Pillar 1 payments - can it be done better and simpler?’ at Scotland House, Brussels.

This well-attended meeting saw presentations on emerging findings from the initial implementation of greening, and some possible options for its future evolution. The agenda also included five country case study presentations, followed by a lively panel discussion.

The seminar programme and speaker biographies can be found below, along with the speaker presentations. The note of the proceedings 'ENCA Seminar Report' is available below.

Further background to the seminar can also be found below in the form of ‘Some Reflections on the Review of the CAP Greening Measures’. ENCA submitted these as a supplement to its contribution to the public consultation exercise on the ‘Experience with the first year of application of the greening obligations under the direct payment scheme (Common Agricultural Policy)’
