Context

The concept of 'mainstreaming' can be interpreted as the integration of nature conservation goals into the practices of businesses and governments.  ENCA members are interested in how, as Nature Conservation Agencies, they can influence the uptake of nature conservation principles into such practices.

In terms of social issues, the importance of nature in delivering human wellbeing is increasingly recognised across society.  ENCA are interested in how these benefits can be maximised whilst also delivering for Nature.
